There is a lot to say about the reasons behind writing a book. Maybe it is out of curiosity that we write, other times it is out of necessity because no one else is writing the story.
That’s the funny thing, even if no one is writing a story like you, someone has had the idea for the story.
Even in times like these, I wonder not if my story is original, but if it’s okay for me to write it.
There is so much insecurity that I have to fight with daily, but still I try to move forward.
So what did I do today?
I went to the art museum, I spent hours just sitting and looking at art.
Taking a break is a healthy part of maintaining a writing routine.
While, I did get a few words in, it is nowhere near my 2,600 words a day goal.
I feel disappointed in my progress, and yet I want to keep going, to see how close I can get to my goal.
