Day 36 of Write a Book in 45 Days Challenge

“May the words find you when you least expect it.”

This little phrase is what I keep repeating to myself. And I have tried a new strategy today.

I write out the dialogue and then go back to add the words that make it feel like the words matter.

This process works out because it feels like something magical is happening.

So what did I do today?

I wrote over 2,000 words today.

Know that I wanted to write around 4,000 words, but I didn’t get that far.

It’s weird that I am starting to feel proud of my work. Even if I don’t reach my goal, I feel like I am creating something I am proud of.
