Welcome to July

A book with blank pages and a sky blue in the background. And the statement of Welcome to July.

Hello again

It’s been awhile, a few months of what do I do now, and how to create a place I can keep coming back to.

So here is my truth, I want to be an international best-selling writer and poet. In the event that happens, I hope to elevate O.W.N. voices and create a place where I can celebrate queer and BIPOC creatives.

Now, let’s give this another go.

July to-do-list

A stack of old books, with a July to-do-list statement and the list of what to expect. 2 parts of a short story, 1 short story about robots, 4 poems, 4 book reviews, and sporadic blog posts

I plan to share a four-part short story, but just two of the parts for now. There are two parts currently written, and the remaining parts have to make it out of my brain.

The short story about robots is an excerpt from Family Dinner that I wrote last year. I especially love the robot character and hope to write more sci-fi in the future.

In this instance, I have four poems that reflect how life has changed in the past few years.

So far, this year, I have read about 100 books. I want to write about them, to share what I read with the people around me. Lol, I probably need to redo the landing page for this blog. But maybe that is an August project.

Why sporadic blog posts? Because I like a bit of chaos in a routine schedule. Also, my brain is telling me that it will have impulsive ideas that it wants to share, and I am now obligated to share that with other people.

If you like my blog, or my books, feel free to leave me a tip on my Ko-fi.

See you another time, my friends.
