Welcome to another month’s recap and resources on Le Blog.
This month I have some good news to try and combat some of the bad news in the world.
I also have two free resources you might need for writing and character building.
There is also an update on a few of my current projects, my ever growing list of books I am reading, and what subscribers can expect from the subscriber-only edition of the newsletter for September.
Book sales have been up by only a margin.
Why?
I am testing to see how discoverable my books are, and I need to do some edits on The Poison of Fate. But I have one beta reader currently going through it and in late September, I plan to release a better edited version of it.
I am also going through burn out, so a lot of my social media has not been updated for a few months, even though I know it is helpful to post.

Good News! My WIP is finished at 68,000 words. But it needs major revisions and I hope to increase it to 80,000 words by the time I am done with it.
Though, it will be part of a four book, one novella series, so I will be writing this for a few years.
I will do a midmonth post on some of the finer details so subscribe to get updated when I do post it.
The short story will be a part of an October Series of Horror.
Somehow, I have managed to read 31 books this month, but I am so far behind on writing the reviews.
I have caught up on my May – July reviews on StoryGraph, but I still need to do my August reviews.
So, I plan to just have my reviews on StoryGraph. You can follow along my reading progress by following me there @jonanightingale.
I mostly read queer books, and currently, I am in my romance phase. Dark Romance.

You look like you need some resources.
Whether you have been writing for a long time, or just beginning, it’s good to know that you have enough resources to bring your characters to life.
I have two downloads for you. One on characterization that an ex shared with me, and one on outlining your novel that I used for writing.
Not all outlines will work for you, but I highly suggest you take the time to find what works for you.
These resources are yours to tinker with, maybe even use to create stories and characters you and your readers can connect to.
Holy cow! It’s already the end.
My newsletter is free every other month, so September will be for those who subscribed, but here is what you can expect.
While I will definitely let you know all the goodies that happened in September, I will also provide information on the following.
My next writing project, a sneak short story for October, along with my content plan for October, and a small guide on writing short stories.

Still here?!?
You can also buy my books, leave a tip, read my blog, or subscribe to the chaotic goodness!
